Meet Paula Tregre

Paula is a local artist who offers unique, original artwork in a variety of techniques & styles to help you achieve the atmosphere you want in your home or office. Paula was born and raised in Southwest Louisiana and has always had a love for color and being creative. She took her first art lesson at the age of six and has been painting ever since.  Her work is heavily influenced by music, local culture, and life experiences.  

Paula is mostly self-taught, but has attended many demonstrations and seminars in abstract painting, folk art, and intuitive painting.  Paula loves to express her creativity, mostly through abstract art.  She enjoys upcycling old canvases and giving them new life.  She also enjoys creating original pieces for clients that are very personal to them. She has brought much joy to clients all around the United States through her art. 

Paula also teaches private art lessons and exhibits locally at various venues throughout the Gulf South Region.  She is a member of several local art guilds and has won several awards for her paintings.  Recently, Paula was chosen by the St. Tammany Commission on Cultural Affairs as a Creative Native Artist, where she provided an uplifting arts experience to residents during the difficult COVID-19 Pandemic.  Paula hopes to share her enthusiasm for the art of abstract painting with all, and encourage others to pursue their dreams as she has done herself.
